Discover Beautiful Native American Art

The Santa Fe Indian Market is almost here and we can’t wait. If you have been contemplating a late summer visit to Santa Fe, now is the time to get off the fence and get here. The 96th Annual Santa Fe Indian Market takes place in just a couple of weeks and is the perfect cap to your great summertime adventures.

Plan to spend the weekend of August 19th and 20th strolling through the incredible market full of beautifully crafted work by Native American artists. The Santa Fe Indian Market is the world’s largest and most prestigious Indian Market you will find.

The market started way back in 1922 and attracts over 100,000 people every year from all over the world. The one of a kind art, collectibles and other treasures are perfect for collectors of all kinds. With over 900 Native American artists in attendance, you will have the unique opportunity to meet the person behind your favorite pieces. With artists from more than 200 federally recognized tribes across the United States and Canada, you will have the opportunity to learn about art, culture and life in many different tribes.

Hosted by the Southwestern Association for Indian Arts (SWAIA), the Santa Fe Indian Market provides visitors with high quality and authentic works of art. The SWAIA is a non-profit organization that works to promote Native arts and artists. If you haven’t been to the Santa Fe Indian Market yet, then now is the time to go. You won’t want to miss this long-running Santa Fe tradition even one more year.

And if you have visited the market before, that’s ok too. The market is different every year with unique works of art. You can attend the market every year and still have a different experience every time you visit. The market transforms the Santa Fe Plaza every year and our historic boutique Santa Fe Plaza hotel is located right in the thick of it.

The event takes place both Saturday (7:00am-5:00pm) and Sunday (8:00am-5:00pm), August 19th and 20th. Get more details and purchase your tickets here.
